1. Who I am

ChatGPT for Seniors is an independent online training service run by Ümit Arslan from Oakville, Ontario, Canada. I am responsible for the personal information collected through this website and follow Canada's privacy law (PIPEDA).

2. Information I collect

• When you send the contact form: your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message.

• When you book a call or session: your name, email address, the time you choose, and any details you add (for example, your phone number, your device or what you'd like to learn).

• When you email or call me: the information you choose to share.

• When you visit the website: basic technical information such as the pages you view, your type of device and browser, and your approximate location (city or country). This is collected through the Google tools described below.

• Payments (when available): paid sessions will be processed by Stripe. I never see or store your full card number.

3. How I use your information

• To reply to your questions and messages
• To schedule, confirm and remind you about your calls and sessions
• To teach your session and send you learning materials, such as your 100 ready-to-use prompts
• To understand how visitors use the website so I can make it clearer and easier to use
• To meet legal and accounting requirements

I will not send you marketing emails unless you clearly agree to receive them.

4. Trusted services I use

To run this website and my sessions, I use a few well-known services. They only receive the information needed to do their job:

• GoDaddy — hosts this website
• WPForms — powers the contact form
• Brevo — delivers website emails, such as contact form messages
• Cal.com — manages bookings, confirmations and reminders
• Google Meet — hosts our online video sessions
• Google Search Console and Google Analytics (through Google Site Kit) — show how people find and use the website
• Stripe — will process payments for paid sessions

Some of these companies may store information outside Canada, for example in the United States or Europe, where local laws may allow authorities to access it.

5. Cookies

Cookies are small files saved in your browser. This website uses cookies that are needed for it to work properly. When Google Analytics is active, it also uses cookies to count visits and see which pages are helpful. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time — the website will still work.

6. Booking for a family member

Family members are welcome to book or pay for a session for a parent or grandparent. If you share someone else's name or contact details, please make sure they agree first.

7. How long I keep your information

I keep your messages and booking details only as long as needed to help you and to meet legal or accounting requirements. When I no longer need them, I delete them securely.

8. How I protect your information

I use reasonable safeguards, such as secure connections (HTTPS), password-protected accounts and trusted service providers. No website is 100% secure, but I take the protection of your information seriously and never ask for passwords or banking details during sessions.

9. Your rights

You can ask me at any time to:

• See the personal information I have about you
• Correct information that is wrong
• Delete your information
• Withdraw your consent

Just email or call me, and I will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

This website links to other sites, such as Amazon for my book. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and I am not responsible for how they handle your information.

11. Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
